Europe Hoist Lifting Overhead Cranes sometimes also called electric overhead travelling crane (EOT), which is a type of crane with a movable bridge that runs on elevated beams suspended overhead. it is used in various industrial steel buildings, workshop, warehouse, industrial sheds, barns etc. This allows a load to be moved in three axes to and from any point in the crane’s operating space. In addition to the bridge, a bridge crane system includes a trolley and hoist that can move across the length of the bridge, and elevated beams, known as the runway, over which the bridge moves forward and backward. The trolley moves from side to side across the bridge, perpendicular to the direction of motion of the bridge, carrying with it the hoist, which can be raised and lowered from the floor to position the load at varying heights.Bridge crane design allows multiple configurations to accomplish this movement. The two main categorizations are top-running versus under-running bridge cranes and single-girder versus double-girder bridge cranes. This allows four general configurations: single-girder top-running, double-girder top-running, single-girder under-running, and double-girder under-running bridge cranes.

European type cranes have such design concepts as small dimension, light dead weight. Compared with traditional cranes, the limiting distance is minimum from hook to wall, and headroom is the lowest, which makes cranes work more close to the front, and lifting height more higher that increases effective working space of workplace.

New workshops can be designed more smaller and have more functions because the dead weight is light, and the wheel pressure is small. Smaller size workplace means saving a huge amount of money from initial construction investment, long-term heating, air conditioning and other maintenance free.
