The media that we offer in the Pi3115SMX10 and the fibers of the filter element are uniform in shape and smaller than the fibers found in paper elements. The result is a filter element that has more fibers per square millimeter and reduces the amount of particulate capable of passing through the filter by 99.9%. Additionally, the structure of a Microglass filter prevents the media from degrading in a way found in paper elements.
